Rear View of the Nurse Family Homestead, ca 1678, Danvers, Massachusetts (Formerly Salem Village).

The homestead is a superb example of a Colonial New England farmstead. Close by is the family burial ground including the grave of witchcraft victim George Jacobs, as well as the monument to Rebecca Nurse, inscribed with an epitaph written by poet John Greenleaf Whittier.
