Slate Gravestone for Mary Cromall, Wife of Philip Cromall, 1683, Charter Street Burial Ground, Salem.

Mary Cromall's slate stone is unusual in its shape and is an exceptional example of early Boston-area gravestone carving. Mary, widow of Robert Lemon, was the third wife of Philip Cromall. The oldest extant stone in the burial ground is for Dorothy Cromall, 1673.
